IZURU: Pretty in blood

                                      


          
Izuru misses his taicho-san. He is so......vunerable and pretty. Pretty. Pretty. Pretty. Making a mess with the ink on himself because, maybe it makes him feel better.


When I re-read all of Izuru's scene in the manga (an exception to Izuru in vol.15 because he is very emotionally unstable there) I realized that he is so cool! So manly! *flails* Its a shame I just noticed it.

Maybe it was the fanfictions I have been reading, always portraying Izuru too much of a wimp/delicate person, and I seem to forget that Izuru was a man. And HERE, I'M TOO DOING EXACTLY SO! -_- *sighs* Maybe we just like him like that...uh sometimes.

Very pretty!

When you look back at younger Izuru, he was a nice young man. Cheerful, friendly, polite, moderately ambitious (but not really more so than any other student hoping to be a Captain some day), getting on well with his classmates . . .

Wow... very pretty and sad and definitely vulnerable. I love the cranes and the ink and mask... fox?

He's not delicate, really... just... seems to have gotten broken a bit, emotionally, by his taicho. But he had to have been strong to get where he got, I think, and his kido's always been pretty strong. Interesting to think about.

In the picture he is smiling a bit. It's hard to notice unless you stare at his face.
Oh, I don't mean that he was delicate, I actually don't think so. He was really acting really cool when he was found at the Centre 46 place by Toshiro. He actually looked very intimidating and ..*flails again*

Yup thats a fox mask. Just the way the japanese depict a fox.

The mask makes a lot of sense. And I'll also say I love how you drew his zanpakutou, with the bindings and hilt and scabbard... details, lovely details... especially where and how it rests. *grin*

I learnt how to draw swords because of Nobuhiro Watsuki, the manga-ka for Rurouni Kenshin. I loved his works, tremendously. Only now I'm not crazy over it as I used to....say 5 or 6 years ago. He taught me how to draw the kimonos and hakamas, swords and, very neat line work.

My line work is not that neat, I'm quite impatient and I like my lines to look spontaneous, that is when I'm not drawing Bleachies :D

I agree he is a man and a sexy one at that I am guilty of portraying him as weak sometimes too. I look back on my older fan fics with him and Gin when I portrayed him with more spunk and i miss that version but it is so easy sometimes to get swept up in the norm and that it take over and conform.

This is breathtaking though I love it....very very very sexy thank you for sharing yet again

lol yeah he can be fun weak but I like him better strong
for a stronger Kira of mine I would reccommend Certain Kind of Power and I Hate You under the Gin/Kira pairing i would link but I dont know how in a comment I am not smooth like that

Ah how I love you let me count the ways... XXDDD

Kira is one of my favorite characters. Even though he's broken from being used and abandoned by his taichou, he's still badass. One of my favorite scenes with Kira is actually in the fillers when he's talking to Ichigo. Ichigo is carrying Keigo on his back and Kira offers to help because Ichigo is hurt. Ichigo is like 'no it's alright' and Kira then say something along the lines of "You know, I'm not cruel..." Just that little line totally made me take a step back and reavaluate his character.

Wow... sorry to cut in, but... that was my favorite line from Kira, ever, too, "I'm not as cruel as I look" was the translation I got... and his stance and look at that moment backed that line up completely. *shiver*

Totally. I LOVED seeing Shuuhei *fight*, that grace and his fluid strength was so different than the other shinigami it just made me go AGH when everyone, for quite good reasons I guess, stopped him. Ahem.

When he stood there and excepted Rukia's sacrifice and was all "Well said, Kuchiki-san" or something like that, I was all 'omg, this guy is AMAZING!'. And then... I wrote a fic about him... and another and another and another.......

Holy crap, the kimono (is it a kimono?) design is so pretty! Kira looks "bloody" gorgeous (what a lame pun XD)!

Oh it's the men's yukata he is wearing. It looks much more like a robe, like the one Renji wore when he visited Rukia in the prison, that was funny, we get to see his thighs XD

Well, seeing in the top 10 was already a really wonderful surprise - I admit that even though he's one character in Bleach that I absolutely love, I actually wasn't expecting him to be as popular as he turned out to be :D

I suppose, though, that if people did more fanworks of him they would get to love him eventually. (And I agree with you... Kubo would give us more fanservice through him ♥)

The white lines were done over the black outlines, so it wasn't hard.
